Last updated: 15 September 2026. Please read these terms before requesting or using Recard services.
1. Who we are and these terms
Recard is a trading name of HHAS HOLDINGS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17385624. Our registered office is Suite Ra01, 195–197 Wood Street, London, England, E17 3NU. References to “Recard”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean HHAS HOLDINGS LTD trading as Recard.
These terms apply to businesses that request, purchase or use Recard Standard, Recard Plus, a Recard NFC or QR card, a hosted Recard feedback page, dashboard access or related support. Recard is supplied for business use. If a statutory consumer right applies despite that, nothing in these terms excludes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Enquiries, quotes and contracts
The website is for enquiries and demonstrations; it is not currently a direct online checkout. A quote, scope or payment request from Recard is an invitation to place an order. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract begins only when Recard confirms acceptance in writing or starts agreed setup work after receiving payment. Before acceptance, Recard will confirm the selected service, price, any delivery charge, and relevant setup information.
3. Recard Standard
Recard Standard is a one-off configured physical NFC and QR card service. The current price is £25 for one card or £40 for two cards. It includes initial configuration and reasonable pre-dispatch testing. It does not include a hosted Recard feedback page, client dashboard, activity reporting, private-feedback inbox, ongoing hosting or ongoing managed support unless Recard agrees otherwise in writing.
4. Recard Plus
Recard Plus has a £20 setup fee and costs £19.99 per month. It includes an NFC card, branded review and feedback page, client dashboard, activity reporting, private-feedback inbox, ongoing hosting, WhatsApp and email support while the subscription remains active, and additional cards at £20 each. Setup begins after payment. Prices are in pounds sterling. HHAS HOLDINGS LTD is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not charged on the stated prices.
5. Subscription, cancellation and failed payments
A Recard Plus subscription renews monthly until cancelled. A client may cancel at any time by contacting Recard or using the agreed billing route. Cancellation stops the next renewal; the service remains active until the end of the paid billing period. When that period ends, the hosted page and dashboard are restricted and no longer available for normal use. Recard retains the account configuration and relevant service data for up to 30 days to allow reactivation or a deletion request, subject to records we must retain by law.
If a payment fails, Recard may contact the client and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. We may restrict the dashboard and hosted page after seven days of non-payment, and may end the service if the account remains unpaid. Restriction or termination does not remove the client’s obligation to pay properly due charges.
6. Delivery, cards, replacements and faults
Delivery is arranged after onboarding. Any delivery charge and estimated dispatch date will be confirmed to the client before dispatch. NFC performance can vary with a device, its settings, a phone case, card placement, network access and other circumstances outside Recard’s control. Recard will test a card reasonably before dispatch, but does not guarantee compatibility with every device or third-party platform.
An active Recard Plus subscription includes one complimentary replacement card in each six-month period. This allowance applies to one card only and is subject to reasonable verification, stock availability and the client’s account being in good standing. Additional replacements cost £20 unless the card is confirmed faulty. Please report a suspected fault within 14 days of delivery so that we can investigate promptly. Recard may ask for a video, photo, return of the card or other reasonable evidence. Where a card is faulty, damaged in transit, misdescribed or not delivered, Recard will repair, replace or refund it as appropriate. The 14-day reporting period does not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Refunds
Because cards are configured and setup work begins after payment, setup work and completed configuration are normally non-refundable once started, except where required by law or where Recard has failed to provide the agreed service. Recard will consider refunds, replacement or repair where a card is faulty, damaged in transit, misdescribed or undelivered. Any approved refund is returned using the original payment method where practical.
8. Google, reviews and fair use
Google Business Profile and Google review services are operated by Google, not Recard. Recard is not affiliated with Google and does not guarantee profile verification, profile approval, search position, visibility, review volume, star ratings, publication, removal or moderation decisions. The client is responsible for supplying an accurate Google review URL and for its own Google Business Profile.
Recard is designed so that a customer can choose a Google review or private feedback route regardless of the rating selected. Clients must not use Recard to obtain, commission, submit or publish fake reviews; conceal incentives; selectively suppress or misrepresent negative feedback; impersonate customers; offer rewards for reviews; or otherwise breach consumer law, Google policies or other applicable rules. Recard may restrict or suspend use where we reasonably believe the service is being misused.
9. Client responsibilities
The client must provide accurate business details, branding, review links and contact information; obtain any permissions needed for supplied content; keep dashboard credentials secure; and use private feedback lawfully and respectfully. The client must not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive or malicious material, attempt to access another client’s account or data, or use Recard in a way that damages the service or others.
10. Private feedback and data processing
Each client may view only private feedback submitted through that client’s own Recard page. Private feedback cannot currently be exported from the dashboard. Recard does not routinely read a client’s private feedback and does not use it for marketing or share it between clients. However, authorised Recard personnel may access data only where reasonably necessary for security, support requested by the client, troubleshooting, legal compliance, fraud prevention or enforcing these terms.
For private feedback processed for a client, the client will normally be the controller and Recard will normally process the data on the client’s documented instructions. The data-processing terms within the service agreement apply to that processing. Recard remains controller for its own account, billing, support, security and service-administration data. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
11. Availability, changes and support
We may carry out maintenance, security work, updates or changes needed to operate the service. We will aim to minimise disruption, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We will not deliberately remove core paid Recard Plus functionality during an active paid period without a legitimate operational, security or legal reason. Support is available through support@recard.co.uk and WhatsApp on +44 7940 038 437.
12. Intellectual property and liability
Recard’s name, branding, website, software, design and materials belong to Recard or its licensors. We grant the client a limited, non-transferable right to use the service during an active subscription. The client retains ownership of its own logos and content, while allowing Recard to use them only to provide and support the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Recard is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss caused by Google or another third party, or loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by a client. Recard’s total liability for claims connected with the service is limited to the fees paid by the client to Recard in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Ending or suspending service
Recard may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for non-payment, security, suspected fraud, unlawful use, serious breach of these terms, platform-policy compliance or legal obligation. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a route to resolve the issue. Ending a service does not affect rights and obligations accrued before it ends.
14. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply. Contact Recard at support@recard.co.uk or +44 7940 038 437.
